Dear UKW fellow woodworkers
I bought a Lie Nielsen honing guide second-hand. The previous owner had damaged the central screw BrassNut. I tried repairing and smoothening the edges which was okay for time.
I contacted the LN directly enquiring about the way to replace it. The reply was very useful and educational.
1- They sell spare parts for their products
2- They had a very nice educational clip on how to replace it
3- Big thank you to the Classic Hand tools they can order spares for you on demand.
