On site planer

Hi everyone,
Looks as if im gonna need an on site planer/thicknesser bot not necessarily the thicknesser...i need something not too heavy 40-50 kg max, not really wide but relatively long...
Any suggestions? Let's i.agine the budget is no problem ;0)))

My choice when in this situation was a makita nb2012 / 110 volt . Leaves the timber in really good condition almost ready to finish . Noisy - yes but nowhere as loud as some . It’s a thicknesser but worth it . If I recall the other choice was the matabo hc260 ( I think )

Hi Bingy man, I have the metabo, it's fine if a touch heavy, I need more a jointer that is transportable mainly for long bits of sapelli or oak.

I use a lumberjack 10", fairly light weight, but keep cuts light and it works a treat.

If you are willing to get a transformer there are lots of bench top jointers (here at least) in 150mm and 200mm widths with lengths from 600mm to 1000mm weights are in the 20Kilo range give or take. Costs $400Cad to $900Cad. They should be available to you. You could put it on a portable mitre saw stand and use the board support rollers, perhaps with some modification, to work longer stock. Some have better cutter heads like the examples below.

Need some sort of idea what you're going to put over the planer. Is it for mainly edging ?

Maybe one of the cheaper surface planers like the Jet version of the generic small p/t
