Oak faced ply ?

I live in Tamworth and am trying to find a supplier of oak faced plywood for a furniture project thats coming up. I will be needing various thicknesses from 3mm to 18 mm. Does anyone know where i can get my mitts on some within say a 30 mile radius ?
The project, by the way, is a shelving/cupboard unit to be fitted into the alcoves between 2 chimney breasts.
I am also cultivating the idea of making a couple of bedside cabinets after watching the Great British Workshop on sky over the weekend.So will also need a supplier of veneered MDF, perhaps the same source as the ply ?

Generally available from 3.6 mm upto 12mm thick. Try WT Edens or Timbmet on the net. Veneered MDF available in the thicker sizes.

Piggy, try yell.com for plywood in your area. If those suppliers don't stock it, then they will know who does.

I'm sure this is the supplier the joinery workshop I work in uses, and I have seen oak veneered MDF & ply, not sure if it came from them though, but these are local to you.

You could also try Robbins Timber www.robbins.co.uk I know they do Oak faced ply and other useful stuff, can't say they are cheapest but their stuff is quality
