I got a bit more done on this today. It's a bit of an unusual one as the corner it is going into is tight and close to a radiator so to save space I designed it with a slide out printer/speaker unit.

It's almost ready for a finish now, might get that done tomorrow...with luck. :D

Looks very good.

If there is a great weight expected in the drawer, I believe it's better to mount the runners at the bottom of the drawer, not the top. (Or both). Having the runners at the bottom resists swaying motion better.

Looking at the pictures there is not much choice for the location of the runners

I got the computer desk installed today. Glad to say everything fitted just as planned. Customer was very happy with it and I couldn't stop her singing my praises for such an ingenious design. She also gave me a tip and said she will pass my name around. :D

Very neat problem solving design.

Something about both of the end on 'fully extended' photo's makes it look as if the mobile section is tipping out, but I think it's just some sort of optical illusion, maybe because of the grain on the oak above the knee-hole.

Looks perfectly matched to it's intended location.

Ah yes I see what you mean Mike, I think this is due to the camera lens as it tends to bend similar to a fisheye lens. Thanks for the comments. :D
