Hi not sure if this is the right area to post but I have a ferm fzt 315 saw which I picked up 2nd hand. The motor worked OK however when I got home and tried it I could hear a vibrating clicking noise coming from the switch then smoke from the motor. So I put it on the bench appears the capacitor is toast so I have ordered one. So I'm looking at replacing the switch which uses a coil I took the switch apart and it appears to have 8 pins I total I have attached a photo what switch can replace it with as parts for this saw are no longer available? Any help is appreciated

One of the switches on this page will probably work as a functional replacement but get some help who know what they are doing and while they're at it, have them fix that big nick in the live wire (brown) top right of your photo, near the yellow and where the wire makes a sharp bend. That's almost through to the copper and unless you did it yourself, it doesn't speak well for the factory that shipped it out defective like that.

The main thing is that the switch rating at 230 or 240v AC is bigger than the motor rating.

Yes I did notice the brown wire insulation was cut when I opened the box up so that will get sorted.
