Bosun the oldest usually has SWMBO up by 5.30 insisting to be let out, :lol: which means we're up hours before you, meaning I've got more time to waste :lol: He had her up this morning before 5am :lol:

If dogs were kept outside in kennels in an enclosure of some sort you wouldn't need to get up early at all :wink:

Rob- who's never owned a dog, has no intention of ever keeping a dog but who does have two cats that get booted out each night (into the utility room).....hat, coat etc

Some dogs are keept outside in kennels of course but the humans that do so miss out on the most important aspect of having a dog.

Bosun would live outside he hates having to come indoors (remember he's the size of a small pony )
So it's all a matter of which is easiest, for swmbo to get up early, or mop up about a gallon of water if it's been raining all night. Don't suggest making a kennel, he don't even notice things like rain :lol:

I've had dogs most of my life and the big problem is they don't live as long as we do, unfortunately. As regards an out door kennel I suspect our two hounds would gang up on me, along with the wife, and it would be me in the kennel.
I know my place, in the wrong! :lol:
