Turns out not to be a bedrock at all!!!

I have no idea what it is actually. I bought it as i need a no. 7 but now i'm curious what i actually bought.

The body is stamped with WODEN on the front

It is made in England and has a stanley blade? There are no markings at all on the cap

The iron on the sole is very nice, no deep gouges and there is only out of alignment. I think it will clean up quite nicely. No matter what it is I think i found a keeper as i was in desperate need of a no. 7.

As Paul says, English, decent quality. Probably quite old, and worth a try at fettling it.
The cutter being Stanley isn't all that odd. A craftsman would replace a worn one with whatever he could lay hands on, and in a workshop it may even be that that were a number of cutters (sharpened by the lad) and you took one as you needed it. You often see Record planes for sale with Stanley irons, it causes huge confusion to some ebay sellers!

Don't think I can add to anything in the link. 2004? Yikes...

Should be a good user, assuming everything's there and it cleans up okay. Enjoy. :D

hi

don't really matter it's not a bedrock , but would have been nice , from the thickness of the steel cheeks on it it's look solid enough with plenty of weight in it and from what we can see looks like it will clean up nicely , enjoy .hc
