Has anyone found a source for new Stanley 39 Plane nickers/spurs? Or, perhaps made some (DIY) from scratch? These consumables seem to often be missing from eBay & other used tool sites. I am contemplating making some from band-saw stock or thin O1 material...

I think you may mean nickers without the "K" - knickers with a k has an entirely different meaning on this side of the pond...

The bits you've got photos of are I think called "spurs", but I'm absolutely not an expert.
 
Second thought was about socks to keep planes in, I also wondered if the op didn’t like Stanley.

But as to nickers or spurs I don’t really know sorry.
