It's nice to get feedback from customers when you sell something. A very nice lady (Zarra, who was buying as a present) who recently bought one of our boxes has sent the following to our Etsy site :-

'Exemplary customer service and stunning craftsmanship. When the box was shipped originally it had a small scratch. After contacting Badger Bandsaw Boxes it was suggested that I either return the box for repair, choose another box, have another made or have my money refunded. After several email discussions with Malcolm I returned the box for repair. Within days he had worked his magic and my Mother-in-law is now in possession of a beautiful box that she absolutely loves! I cannot recommend Badger Bandsaw enough. Malcolm kept in constant contact, sent pictures of his work and put my needs first in every situation. If any suppliers needed an exemplary role model for customer service then Malcolm is your man. Plus he makes stunning boxes! I will definitely be shopping again.'

This is the one she bought

Just thought I would pass it on as it brought me a smile.

Etsy is OK. I don't go mad at it with promotional selling but use the site simply for awareness. Selling bandsaw boxes will never be a profit making business, but it does help to pay for more timber and keeps me enjoying making them. I have slowed down this year for various reasons and need to add a few more boxes to the site, but all being well, will soon be making a few more to advertise. I also like changing designs and coming up with different ideas that I think will be attractive.

Etsy costs are quite reasonable, they pay promptly and as long as your product is advertised sufficiently with some reasonable photos and of a good quality, you can't really go wrong.

Plenty of information on the Etsy site if you look into it.
