Hi All,

I've just joined the forum as I thought it would be a good place to part with my machinery as I'm about to move to Calgary. My machinery has been lightly used over the past 5 years making guitars. I can't see a for-sale section, so am I allowed to sell here? If so, I'll post a list here.
Thanks
Ian

Ian,

just to put Neil out of his misery, could you tell us in what part of the country is this treasure trove stored?

Mike

I'm in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

And don't get too excited - I've only got a planer/thicknesser, quite long belt linisher, pillar drill, dust extractor and small bandsaw. Some routers, sanders, circular saw.

As I'm a newbie, as soon as I get the approval from Charley I'll put more details here.

Thanks
Ian

I might be interested in the P/T and the pillar drill depending on what model, condition, and how much.

as you cant put detail on the boards yet feel free to pm me.

i may be interested in a few things.
spend 10-15mins listing exactly what you have including make/models
of everything you can

I bought the planer/thicknesser new from an engineering company in South Woodham, but for the hell of me I can't remember their name. All I remember is that the company just made planers and saw tables. Its really really heavy, with most of it being cast iron. Very solid - 10" planing width, with three knives. Its on a heavy duty wheeled base frame, also made by the same company.

No Festool tools. The pillar drill is a Rexon, bench top model.

I will be producing a list of what's up for sale. It's only electrical stuff, so no sash cramps or hand tools.

Its got Woodster on the side. Its identical to the Euro 260 (I think that's what it was called), 73" blade.

Dodd Machine Tools. I bought a p/t from them too about 12 years ago, as you say, very solid. Mine has worked perfectly ever since. Unfortunately Dodds seem to have disappeared.

I've taken some pics. I still need to add my router, but its an Elu MOF 177E, with fence and Trend ski-kit. Also, I can't to my linisher to take pics yet! I'll do that soon.
