Thanks for letting me in. I had a problem with my Fox planer thicknesser because after not using it for several years the motor wouldn’t start in the thicknesser mode. I eventually removed a panel to get to the micro switch and discovered that the spring had moved out of place. I moved it back in position and the problem was solved.

I needed it working because I have donated it to my local Community shed. (Thame Shed) which opened in early October and now has over 30 members.

We are likely to need guidance from this group from time to time on many aspects of woodwork although our activities are not limited to working with wood.
