Hi,

First off introductions, I'm Tim nice looking place here :)

I'm looking for someone with a lathe to help out with a university project, if anyone could help that would be great (obviously for some money!), my dad was going to help but illness unfortunately prevents him from doing so at the moment.

I need to make a fibreglass mould, in this shape
http://ploader.net/files/64daf2f418a676 ... 8c3c20.jpg
it's around 24cm wide at the base and 24cm high, I have loads of exact dimensions and drawings if anyone can help. Type of wood isn't really an issue as it's only a mould, something cheap and fairly non-porous would be ideal, finish doesn't need to be perfect either.

So please if anyone can help drop me a pm or an e-mail at [email protected]

Thanks for your time

Tim

Hi Tim. Might help if you let us know where abouts you are located?

I'm in manchester and surrey (term time dependent)
but I'm more than willing to pay for postage within the UK :)

Simple piece   ! Job done though.

Decided to help out, wasn't as easy as I thought.

You could be right Nick, I really have no idea.

Sent Tim a PM saying I would look at it, was sent the details and fancied the challenge. So ther' tis'.

Will explain how I went about it in my long post.
