I woke early and reached up from my wheelchair to a high level kitchen unit for a mug. As I opened the door a plastic shelf support fractured and everything on the second shelf hit the floor ........... except for one thing which bounced off my shoulder back onto the worktop.

That must mean you need a large brandy to get over the shock........of nearly losing the whole bottle....
 
When my m-i-law fell over for the umpteenth time, her carer suggested that all trip hazards - the kitchen mat, for example - be removed in the spirit of health and safety in the home.
