New notebook with Windows 10, just discovered that it hasn't Movie Maker and Windows don't support it anymore.

What do people use instead? downloaded a app but got fed up with all the adverts.

Your local library may have pc's with the moviemaker software. Should be free to use with a library card or visitor pass.

I've used Adobe Premiere Pro CC which is really very good, but it seems expensive to justify on a monthly subscription if you don't use it regularly.
Cyberlink Power Director is ok for the money but it lacks the more advanced technical options and features that Adobe and some others have.

I have used Adobe and Sony and prefer Sony, adobe was to complicated for me. Wondershare is also very good. I have a Imac now so my choices are limited unfortunately.
