Mouldy MDF shelving in shed

Speaking from experience I once left some lam flooring in cellar and it grew mould pretty rapid worst one was bamboo it grew within a week , I got rid of most of the problem when I installed a wood burning stove using the old washing copper flue that was still in cellar . Now we have moved and workshop will be in garage I will have to see what transpires this winter

perhaps it depends on the product, I have had some bits of laminate knocking about in an unheated garage for maybe 18 months without issue.

You maybe right as I have some lam flooring that I made routing templates from that have never shown any sign of mould but they are very dense material the ones I had trouble with were quite light and the type you had to glue the joint
