Hi All, I purchased a Brand new Bench Top Morticer today for an absolute steal of £90 its a half inch one and is a really nice bit of kit. It only came with a half inch bit and my question is does anyone know of any ebay sellers selling a range of sized bits as I have a ebay Star free £10 voucher to use up this month. I did a quick search and it returned nill.

I'd recommend the Japanese bits from Axminster. They cut very well unlike the cheap Chinese (sets). They are about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

cheers,

Ike

Try typing Mortice chisels not mortice bits

I'd also recommend the Japanese chisel and bits to anyone. You may find those cheaper ones are okay to start out with, while you get used to the machine, but when you're ready to upgrade at some point, they'll make a world of difference!
