Here's a little conundram for y'all. I'm making a mitred frame for a table top. I currently do not own any mitre clamps and I don't wish to buy any at this point in time, so therefore is there a way to make up some kind of clamping mechanism or clamping jig for this kind of task?
Secondly, I've also got to make a mitre box to cut the mitres with, is there a trick or handy technique to makesure that the saw-guide slots are accurate to 45? Or is it just a case of careful sawing, and then relying on a mitre attachment to the shooting board to clean up any inaccuracies?
