Hi
I have bought me a BAOS 12" jointer Planer, but its missing the anti kick-back fingers.
the machine is prepared for it, as there is room for the rod/aksel that are to hold the fingers.
i was wondering if it was possible to make these myself, but dont know how to design them.
So I was hoping that someone inhere, have one of these, and maybe have som pictures of how they look like, and maybe even som measurements of the fingers.

Regards
Peter / Denmark

Hello and welcome, I'm not familiar with that model at all.
Until someone comes along and is able to give first hand knowledge,
And Just in case you don't have one, Here's a link to the handbook, page 20 shows the kick back fingers and bars.
and the relevant part numbers.
HTH Regards Rodders

Contact Daltons (aka DaltonsWadkin) they should be able to supply you with new/new old stock parts, and should have the engineering drawings too.

I know it's not quite what you asked, but daltons are pretty helpful in general, and will still provide dealer support for the old wadkin machines (as well as making around 30 brand new wadkins a year).
