BT recently ran a mole down our road and installed a new superduper cable to improve broadband connection to the cluster of houses in the village. They left enough cable for the engineers to run it up the telephone pole and patch it in to the main circuits.
Overnight some unspeakable **** used a hacksaw to cut off the surplus cable. For what? £20 of copper?
