Hi,
I wonder if anyone could give me some advice.
I have a mini max ME 15 edgebander, which is a fabulous piece of kit but as with all edgebanders can be tempermental. I can usually sort out most niggles and wheezes but just recently a problem has developed that I just can't seem to sort.
The bander trims the edge all round, saws top and bottom and guillotenes front and back leading edge. these always need a bit of tinkering but the current problem is when the guilotine cuts the trailing edge it leaves about 1mm overhang, I think its because the shuttle which chases the board hits it too hard and then when it cuts it has bounced back a tad. the poblem is if I adjust the air pressure to stop it hitting so hard then it doesn't travel fast enough to catch the board and snip the end.
I have tried putting more downwards pressure on the power feed to stop it kicking forward but then the machine doesn't feed very well.
The machine is a 2004 model, 3 phase, Leicester 3000w heater
Any help gratefully received
Regards Doc
