Hi

I've had the mini bagpress for about 2 years and use it maybe once a fortnight veneering flat panels, now the other day I was veneering some MDF panels size 300mm x 200mm nothing special and the bag was taking a while to deflate ( not sure if thats the right term) so I took the pipe of and there was very little suction.
I emailed bagpress and they very promply responded asking how often I use it and I replyed about once a fortnight for a couple of hours, they replyed with it should not run any longer than 45mins and if I sent the pump back they might be able to fix it but where unsure of the cost.

I would like to here from anyone with this type of press with similar problems as I can't remember the instructions stating no longer than 45 min (but can't seem to find the instructions now)

They also said I might be better with the larger model £459 approx if I had of known how little this press could do I would have went for the bigger.

Cheers Ian

I have had no problems with mine but I don't use it very often.

I find that after the first 10mins the pump can be turned off with just a quick suck every 15mins to keep the vacuum.

Hi Jason

I just thought the pump could run for the duration of the gluing

Well the only options I have now is either send the pump back or buy the heavy duty model.

cheers Ian
