Many thanks for your replies guys, are you all cabinet makers ?
Where would you suggest I buy timber from, just after some bits and peices so that I can pratice making joints and simple bits and pieces so that I can make them look better as they say pratice makes perfect, also any help on which makes of hand tools would you suggest ie tenon saw, dovetail saw ect any info would be great

Im just outside of Boston and work a fair bit in Lincoln. If you need small pieces too practise with i could let you have some choice offcuts that are destined for the wood burner.

Ive got the Veritas tenon and dovetail saws and they are very good value for money. For timber theres a merchant in lincoln called holmes timber near the audi garage on doddington road or if you fancy a drive brook brothers formerley fitchett and woolacott in nottingham or somerscales in keelby north lincs

Thanks for that johnny D yes I would love some off cuts if you dont mind just let me know and I could always collect, will have a look at the timber suppliers and thanks for the info on the saws
