Welcome Ferret.
I looked at these but ended up buying the Festool rail and TS55 EBQ.
Two reasons. Felt I have more control and the Festool set up is a lot cheaper.

from all the demos i have seen, its advantage is if you are generally working with large boards on your own.

the festo is a good piece of kit, but don' ignore the other mafell saws too,

the rail saw has real advantages if you do a lot of faced boards since the scorer seems to work quite well.

if you talk to NMA they may tell you where their next exhibitions are,
and they are only in yorkshire

welcome also

Hi Ferret

I've seen them at exhibitions, too. For ceratin jobs, such as one-man panel handling and certain types of flooring they look impressive. I believe that NMA have a demo room at Elland for some of the heavier kit, so why not ring and ask them?
