Hi does any one know where i can obtain instructions for a Hattersly@Davidson wood chuck that came to me with a M L 8. Lathe
Any informations would be gratefully

ThanksRob 1693 certainly looks comprehensive i will work through the instructions and let you know how i get on

Still use one of those from time to time. Always seems that it's more important to have three hands than the instructions!

Yes can certainly see what you mean,
I have never used a chuck and am not sure if all the component are present my thinking being, that the insructions would confirm this allowing me to proceed !! Cheers

My first chuck was a masterchuck designed by Peter childs had a simarlar learning curve i have more modern chucks but still use it a lot
