I have a friend who is a primary school teacher. She teaches Spanish.
A couple of summers ago she took a party of kids to Spain on an exchange and they travelled by coach.
At some point up a mountain village road the bus had to turn round and found a gateway which he thought suitable. This gateway had pillars, atop which were large stone balls
You can skip if you know what's coming.
He reversed into one of said pillars and knocked off one of said balls, which started to roll down the hill gathering speed as it did so.
It took out several cars, crossed a couple of junctions and ended up through the window of a shop.
Astonishingly, no-one was hurt.
She tells the tale very well.
