I have a scheppach TS82 table saw which I bought around 15 years ago.
Cast iron table top and a pressed steel base, with 8 inch blade and 1100 watt motor.
It came with all the sliding cross cut parts but never used because I didn't have the use or room to use them.
it's done me proud and still works.
I was looking to buy someshing a bit more sturdy with a 10 inch blade. Don't want anything with a sliding cross cut just a basic cast iron bed and a good fence. Something that's solid. I will be ripping short lengths of hardwood 500mm sort of size and 75mm high.
Anybody recommend a solid table saw, maybe an old school with a small foot print.
I just missed out on a Whitehead junior table saw for £100 which looked solid in the photos on ebay
