Had a day off and went to look at the azaleas, etc. I was hoping to buy an outdoor Bonsai for my wife's birthday, but they're no longer sold there. Never mind, off to Bodiam soon to another source. Gave the new camera a try-out and I'm quite pleased with the results, seen here

I've got a Pentax K10D. I bought it, body only, because I'm able to use the lenses from my Pentax Z1 35mm film camera.

Cracking pics Argee, I've got loads of azaleas in one border, it's a shame that they only last for a couple of weeks in full bloom though. :?

Talking photography I've been all week trying to get a pic of a Buzzard thats been raiding the rabbits in our garden, every time I've tried with my digital it's gone by the time the shutter goes off, I'll have to ditch it and get my old cannon out. :lol:

If you want a decent range of Bonsai you can't beat Herons Bonsai, got my first tree from them almost 20yrs ago. The maples & wisteria look good at the moment but the Satsuki azalias wont be out until june.

No, Paul - all hand-held in Aperture Priority mode - didn't even use the shake-reduction built into the camera.

The EXIF data for each picture has now been added for info, beneath each picture.

Many thanks for that link, Jason. Although we found a tree at Bodiam, Herons definitely looks like it's worth a visit and it's closer too.
