Ordered one on March 4, specified surface mail delivery at $7.95, delivered today - total price inc delivery £15. It's a great little device, well worth the money. Thanks for the heads up Rod!

I quite fancied getting one of these but they are out of stock at the moment and not re-stocking until the end of June  Let us know what you think of it in terms of accuracy and reproducibility of angles etc. as it seems an awful lot cheaper than other electronic angle finders on the market.

That was quick - still have not got mine :(

Ordered a couple of other things as well so perhaps the bigger parcel has slowed it down?

Rod

Hi Rod,
Lee Valley sent it using the Canadian "International Surface Small Pack"
I guess if you have included one each of the Veritas Planes  in your order, it might take a little longer!!

Yep have to wait until June also was aiming to order it along a few other items. So seems there will be at least two orders this year from LV.

Nearly got it - just got to pick it up from the Post Office and pay £12.90 duty :(

Still cannot complain too much I have been very lucky in the past - but cannot really understand why this was "picked up" - I did not buy very much - about $80 worth in total ? :)

Rod

Top marks for Lee Valley.

I received my digital angle finder during the week... for the money it was brilliant :tool: . It jogged my memory that I ordered some button locks in February so I fired an email to them about half an hour ago to see where they were....... Within 10 minutes I received a reply. :D

Rod - in speaking to someone at the PO about this, apparently it's 'pot luck' as to wether your individual parcel gets opened as it's impossible for them to open every one. It also depends, so I'm led to understand, on the information that the sender puts onto the outside of the parcel which explains why some parcels get thu' without paying duty and others are less fortunate - Rob

More expensive, less than half as accurate and more bulkier.
