Just received this mini panel raiser from Philly. Beautiful workmanship in Pau Rosa.

This is going to get some serious work in a few months. The plan is to build a wall unit with several doors with raised panels. The raised panels are to be quite shallow, hence this mini panel raiser (it is actually designed for boxes and drawers).

Derek, can I ask a question re importing them, I watched a programme about Oz customs control and some bloke was bringing a wooden mask in, they stopped him and took it away saying the wood could have some bug or such in it, do they do that still and does it cause problems ?, or are tools exempt.

Choose one of the following:

1. Philly arranged for a mule to smuggle it through in a fake pregnancy.

2. Philly labled it as "an orangy-brown-rosy" metal thingy.

3. The customs officer took one look at the "wood" lable and laughed, saying, "you think that is wood ... THIS is wood .. " (pointing to a slab of Jarrah).

4. Excise duty of hundreds of $$$ were demanded.

5. It was no problem at all.

2. you bribed him with 2 crates of victoria
3. you threatened him with crocodile dundee.
4. you terrorised him with watching a rerun of all episodes of prisoner.
