That got you thinking, eh? But I really do need help with the sink. I am fitting a solid oak kitchen in our new house, and I have got my hands on a rather nice 'doulton' belfast sink. What makes it good fo us is the fact that it is much more shallow than most Belfast sinks are. And it looks good, apart from...
Rust? It looks like rust, but whatever it is, it is a brown, streaky stain on the bottom of the ceramic sink. I have already bleached it, to little avail. Now I am stumped. I really don't want to damage it by scouring it too heavily. There must be something that will take the stain off without damaging the sink itself.
Please folks, this is a lovely sink, and it'd be a shame not to bring it back to its former glory. I will use it with a small stain in it, but would love to clean it as much as physically possible.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Many thanks
Neil
