I have to fall into the camp that expects quality tools to be made at least to a designed size, with a hint of there being a drawing, even if hand made. Even if I got a "set" of chinese chisels off a market stall I would expect them to be either the same length or graduating in length according to the width. How can anyone be proud to own a set of chisels that are all over the place in length (and pride in ownership is part of the joy of good tools). It's already been said, send them back.
p.s. I sorted my Sorby chisels - 35 deg and no less. Why they send them out with about 22 deg I will never understand.
