Great to hear your enjoying it so much Melinda and your pieces look great. Congratulations. Hope it continues to go as well in 2013.

thank you for all your comments

it was by far the biggest thing I've ever done.
I've never been outgoing so this was a bit out of character for me.... but enough was enough it was time to do something for me!

Congratulations on your success.
It reminds me of the time several years ago when my daughter left a highly paid but stressful job and learned to live on a lower salary.
She's been so much happier ever since - I hope you find you're the same?

David

another quick update.
finished making this yesterday and am really quite proud of it.
i know it's not a complicated piece but for someone who hadn't ever used a biscuiter before this job and has no training in furniture making..... chuffed to bits i am!

Nice work, glad to see it's not all doom and gloom in the furniture world!

what your making does look alot like the stuff that Jan Cavelle do.

Keep up the good work.

was just wondering if anyone in my area has a job vacancy for anything woodworking

Pity you don't live near Cirencester, as I'm looking for local people to make projects for British Woodworking magazine. We are going to be producing eight issues this year, and I need to plan ahead! One idea is to have projects made specially for us, and we do all the writing. I used to do this for Good Woodworking years ago, and it worked really well, but they do have to be local woodworkers.

Cheers

Nick
