James Krenov Style Table/Stool

Commissioned by my daughter inlaw Jane
I've labeled it as a Table/Stool because I've yet to make my mind up which it will be.

I started it yesterday, today I finished it.

Here is the first pic showing the two pairs of legs glued up.

Both sides now glued together

The top added. Just the finish to apply, it might be shellac or Danish oil.

Finish is applied but it still needs a waxing

I've not mentioned the size of it till now. Thats a Stanley #7 along side it. The table is only 16" tall :D

Love it!

How have you mounted the top? I can't tell by the pics.

Cheers

Mark

I added two more rails below the top, if you look very carefully to the left top rail in the last pic you can just make out the plugs. The top is screwed to those rails from underneath.

I didn't realise how small it was until you stood your No.7 next to it! :D

Very nicely done indeed. :)
