hi JFC
seems your plea for help and advice has been HIJACKED by and endless rant about kingspan and celotex and the best place to buy it from .

have a look at these heaters here

dont know if thats any good for you . it heats people moving around in the workshop and doesnt seem to cost a fortune to run
have seen them near outdoor spa tubs , so must be safe to run
electric convector , oil filled , or fan heaters will cost a small fortune to run , so maybe this rules this out as an option. unless you go down the "well insulated" route
for outdoor clothing thats nice and light and toastie warm try this one

well worth the £65 price tag and you can get away with just a t shirt underneath . get a size larger than you need as its a smock and you have to pull it over your head
