I went mad last week and ordered a pile of stuff for the new name signs. I know this sounds a lot but with many of the suppliers they only had one item that I really needed so after spending an hour on the computer and my bank balance considerably lighter I looked forward to recieving 11 seperate deliveries. I had e-mails from all the suppliers saying my items had been despatched and underneath that I was given a delivery date. One said I would have it on Tuesday and it has yet to come. Another said Wednesday and I am still waiting. With one supplier I paid extra for next day delivery, this was last Monday. I have been assured it will be with me tomorrow. It is so frustrating. I wait in all day to no avail. I need shopping but have to wait until the evening before I can get to Tesco's. I don't think it is the supplier so much as they were quick to say the goods had been despatched. I think it's the post office, what a bunch of @?/$& ers

I feel for you, when I order something and I get the despatch information from the supplier, if it is advice that a carrier will be delivering on (xyz) I have confidence that this will happen, however if the supplier states that the Royal mail will be making the delivery, I know it will be this time, sometime, maybe never. :evil:

I think it says it all when every delivery that is advised as Royal mail, there is always a foot note (please allow 28 days before making enquires) or words to that effect. Their delivery is about as reliable as this new Microsoft Windows 8.1 I am struggling with. :roll:
