is this a skype problem?

This message appears on screen even if I have not logged into O/E or I/E, it looks something like a skype message.

Any ideas how to stop or give it the heave oh.

Take your self out of the Skype directory and only accept messages from people in your contact group.

But I do not seem to have anything named directory on the Skype page, I have block senders , but that s a bit late isn't it?

On the tools menu, if you click on the options "option" you have a set of options to set up. One of these is privacy. On the privay tab of the options setup dialogue you can allow contacts from "only people from my contacts"

You may have to check that you know every one in your contacts but it looks to me from your image as though that message is a random spamming type thing. Blocking everying excpet those in your contacts should help
