I am looking to obtain an inflator--the type that you fix to a pump to inflate, for example a ball / tyre etc. I can find plenty on a web search but are to short for my needs. The job in question is to separate a glued guitar neck from a guitar body using steam---see attachment. The depth from the top of the fingerboard to the bottom of the neck is 3 1/2". Do you now where I can obtain an inflator needle that comes close to that length?

Stupid question but can you get access from both sides/ends halving the length needed?
If not Hobby's sell a 1mm o/d 300mm brass tube if you can solder something up

Thats not a bad shout.... how about a 4 or 5mm one and carefully flatten it so its got a wider nozzle?
Edit to add: i watched a youtube vid on this a few years back but cant remember his steam setup.

I've never ever seen a heel with so little meat, makes me think it might not be the usual.
Presuming you've checked/tried to about this.
Note your measurements and whether that's under string tension or not,
if questioning this, look at John Hall's (official Martin repairman and Blues Creek luthiere) neck reset videos and note the compensation he allows.

I bought that model in 2018 and that was after buying three other makes which were either DOA or died after first use. Thus far it has been fine on both 12volts and the occasional 240 supply. If I was looking again for such a pump I'd consider this brand/latest model seriously.
It's no-longer available on the big rvier company site but they do have this more recent version:

it has more bells 'n whistles - but doesn't inlude a 240 volt connection (PSU adapter) if I read the info correctly; has to be bought seperately?
Any such adapter will need to be 10amps at least capacity current draw.
