I recently purchased a INCA 260 bandsaw but it did not have an original INCA wooden stand with it. The previous owner had made a rough looking table that did the job even if it was a bit low. Unfortunately back in the workshop (in daylight) I discovered that it had more woodworm damage that I have ever seen on an object in my life. So the Swiss cheese effect stand had to go asap. Does anyone have an original INCA 260 bandsaw table (the type where the motor hangs under the table) and would be kind enough to measure it up and post the dimensions for me.

I posted this question on an American INCA specialist forum but the guy who responded had measured the aluminum table. Who says we speak the same language.

The strangest thing about the INCA 260 is that it is a left handed design!

Machine height is a compromise as users are all different heights. If you can't get a definitive answer I'd check out the table height of half a dozen other bandsaws and use this as a starting point for determining how high you want yours.

I use one of the original French made Inca 260 b/s but the motor on mine is at the rear of the machine...can you elaborate exactly the dimensions you need? - Rob

I was after the dimensions of the wooden stand that the bandsaw is mounted on. How tall is the table. How far apart are the legs at the floor and what size is the table top the rest I can work out from the table saw stand I have.

Thanks

I've got a home made wooden stand which I've made to suit my height (6'). I'll take a pic tonight and let you have the height of the stand. I'm going to re-make the stand soon anyway so that the extractor will fit underneath and thus reduce the overall footprint a little - Rob

As promised a coupla pics of my Inca 260:

The table is 105cm from the floor which suits my height of working

One useful little thing to add to this saw is an extension to the table and a closer view from the rear:

Thank you very much for the pictures and height info. And very useful tip for widening the table. I have picked up a heavy duty draw runner to build a sliding table for the inca.
I have a slightly older model and the motor hangs underneath the table rather than being an integral part of the saw.
I was wondering if I could trouble you for another picture. This time of underneath the table where the dust extraction hose is connected. My saw does not have such a connection because it is an older model and I wanted to build one. A picture of the manufacturers solution would be very helpful.
