We were going to Tuscany in 2010 when Eyjafjallaokull erupted. It was hit and miss for a while as to whether we would be going. Fortunately, we were ok.
That’s wonderful thank you, it’s elementally terrifying but can’t stop watching it. I believe this is what the Icelandics call a tourist volcano in that it’s wonderful to watch and nobody is going to get hurt.
If I had the chance there is nothing I would like more at this time than to go to Iceland to witness this eruption, I would imagine it would be one of the great experiences of my life second only to being at my children's birth.
