I missed the original transmission, but my friends tell em I was on PM letters yesterday.

I sound a bit camp, goodness knows who they got to read it, but you need to start listening at 46mins and 15 secs for a couple of minutes

I listened and you do sound a bit like a "Shirtlifter" ( nothing wrong with that ) God loves all the people ,even Ginger haired ones .
Perhaps next time you write in you could ask to be portrayed in the stylie
of Brian Blessed or Barry(Cilit Bang )Scott .

Yes, I like that idea - "here is my email and these are the performance notes..."

Can't sing though...

I often wonder how they choose voices for readings.

Whoever's walking down the corridor that afternoon.

Well I heard it while driving and wondered if it was The Steve Maskery or was there an imposter out there, as it didn't sound a bit like you!

I just listened and I didn't think it was what you are worried about  (Well maybe just a tad  )

As Dave says I think the problem is it just doesn't sound like the Steve Maskery we all know (And in this context I'm trying desparately to avoid the 'love' bit    )

There are at least two others. My mum once had a phone call from my mate Laurence from when we were 12. He'd seen someone called Steve Maskery win a fortune on some game show. Sadly it wasn't me.

The weirdest was when I rang up the head of a building project I was about to be involved with. His secretary answered, "Who is speaking, please?", "Steve Maskery", says I. He took the call, mainly because he was standing next to the Steve Maskery he knew.
