Sorry to disappoint - I'm making a seat at the moment, I do have a networked computer in the workshop for music mainly, hence this reply. :)

Well I am, just came in to check email, I have the day off the treadmill. :D

Making a few presents must get them finished soon.

I need to get the network reconnected to the shop, then you could watch on the web cam again, lots of coffee being drunk.

Why arn't you in the workshop, lovely sunny day here in Dorset and the temp in my shop is a cosy 10 deg C, thats without the heating on.

well its 12.30 and the frost is still on the roof where the sun dont shine.

Ice forms on the underside of corrugated asbestos so I'm on the Yama.

10 mile push bike commute and a full day at work.
Cold? yes but better then having a job.
Workshop has a tiny 2m sq office thing with a small oil filed radiator, the mainworkspace has a 2.3x1.5m table, I have put a cardboard skirt around 3/4 of it and have a gas heater on low underneath it and work in thew space where the heat comes out. Nippy but survivable.

Chunko'.

It was -1c outside and +7.5c inside when I went in at 10 to paint my workbench drawer fronts. I only have an oil-filled radiator on the frost setting so I'm pleased that the insulation is doing its job :D .

Admittedly I'm never in the shop before about 10/11, but it's nice and warm in there since I had my rad fitted. :D

I was in work at 7.20am this morning. It never got warmer than 14 degrees. And then we had a timber delivery so the doors were wide open all afternoon, it was freezing!

Just wound the Aga up to operating temp in the kitchen I'm working on over the weekend, went in today to fit some draws and I was sweating like a pig.

The cast iron rads that cost £1500 each are also pumping out the heat, said she should have gone for thermostatic valves but could see why she didn't fit them at £250 a pair  And theres wet UFH in the breakfast room on top of the rads, thank god I ripped all the electric heat mats out of the kitchen

I spent the day plumbing a belfast sink in another guys workshop, which is a single brick garage, with an up & over door. No insulation or heating, they were his next jobs, pity he hadn`t done these before he wanted the sink putting in, i`m only just starting to warm up :(

I've been out in mine this evening, not so bad to be honest feet are a little cold. Temp says its 2 degrees outside.

When i started in my workshop in February i had ice in the kettle in the mornings, Its not gotten that bad yet, When im moving about im fine, Probably unload the timber lorry on Wednesday morning in my t shirt, Handballing £1500's worth of pine gets ya blood pumping I get hot quick and can put more layers on if i get cold, I'd rather it was cold, You can regulate your temperature alot more by wearing more clothing When it was 30+ degs in my workshop in the summer is was unbearable to work in.
I have filled my parrafin space heater, But it will have to be very cold to put it on, Bought a thermometer from B&Q yesterday, Just to keep an eye on the temp.
Nextdoors unit has an office and a heater, After 5 mins in there at coffee break this arvo i went back outside as i started to sweat.

My girlfriend in Thailand was complaining it was cold over there, When its under 28 they bring out their jackets!! Apparently they had a frost a few years ago in the mountain near where i stay, Hoards of Thais going up the mountain pushing their fingers in icy puddles.
