I've seen a few things on the net and YouTube of 3d items being scrolled via sticking templates to two sides.

If you had something you'd like to make, how do you design the two templates so it all works out for the 3d finished product? Or is it an acquired skill?

Corel draw have 3d design. On you tube you can see how to design. But it is not simple.

Hi Mark
I have had a try with Inkscape; a free drawing program
This is what I designed last night

On youtube they fold along the dividing line and stick to wood in usual manner
I prefer to cut the 2 pieces separately then glue them on top of Masking tape then cover all with clear parcel tape
Being careful to line the images up

Not sure if I will ever make the above sample, I was just trying it out
There are many free tutorials; I like the ones by Travis at ScrollsawVillage
Cheers
