Then deduct for gravel, rocks etc and add the volume of any filters to get the actual volume for adding treatments etc. Or just measure how much water it takes to fill, counting buckets is Ok on a tank but I used a water meter on my pond 16,000lts :wink:
Thanks for the advice, that was mainly why I needed to know what volume of water was calculated by. As I know it 1 litre is roughly 1 Kilo. I started off with a 79 litre aquarium!!!!! I have now got it down to a 45 litre aqaurium.
