Hotels in Liverpool?

I´m planing to have a weekend trip in Liverpool in november and looking for a nice (reasonable price) hotel in city center. Any advices?

I have done a lot of filming in Liverpool and we always stay at the Adelphi, no problems.

Try the Campanile Hotel near the docks , O.K. for a short stay and very close to centre.

Thanks a lot guys.
We tried to get in Adelphi but there was any room left so we are thinking about hotel Thistle, also pretty close the center, I think.
Anybody knows that one?
