IPA is also a good alternative to white spirits for cleaning off sticky label, double sided tape residue, etc. Probably better in some cases as it evaporates quite quickly instead of leaving a greasy mess.

It's a good lubricant on fine natural stones and diamond plates as it just wipes off clean. Good anti freeze in your screen wash, and good for cleaning glasses and screens.
