Went to a rally last weekend and came into possession of this chestnut(originally one length had to cut it to fit into car)approximate size 6" x 5" one is 53" and the other 45"long. Me thinks a couple of deep vases to start with what do you think

i think you should post it me and give me the headache of deciding what to make from it :lol: :lol:
looks like a great project whatever you decide..
 
The photo shows it darker than what it is. The chap I got it off informed me that is what it is and he is a Tree surgeon also the bark is a match for horse chestnut(I'm no expert on the matter so have to rely on other peoples opinions)
