how long(short) does it take you chaps to work a decent bowl,seen some items on the site ,/made this between the news and the metch, two hours really nice stuff too,ive seen some fishing rod handles on a web site , im trying to copy them,but dont know how im going to tackle the 16mm hole through the center of the spindle ,with auger bits,or flat wood bits ,do you think i will need a support to keep the bit centered or will the spurred point straighten itself as it pilots itself through the wood?? total begginer with tons to learn,keep up the great work lads,inspiring stuff

Hi Joe , we didn't drill out the hole we used the Legacy http://www.legacywoodworking.com/
I have turned a bowl on the Legacy but bowl turning is more fun on the Lathe imho .

I hate to say it but that bed is so over the top that it's awful .........

I'd like a Legacy when I've more spare cash but the stuff thats on the Legacy web site is, to me, just a bit too OTT............. Maybe they should have a few more pieces like JFC has done

I agree alot of the stuff is over the top but i suppose once you find out its easy to do you go over the top on everything . Harry Tippett is a fine example of how to use the Legacy without going OTT IMHO .
