Hobby Woodworker in Dudley

Hello All,
I've got more enthusiasm than traditional woodworking skills, but thought this forum would be a good source of information to help me along the way.
I'm hopiing my background as a dental technician will stand me in good stead for my new found hobby as I'd like to think I have well-honed fine hand motor skills which should be transferrable.
I'll certainly have enough time to devote to learning as I'm very recently retired and am looking how best to use all these expensive tools I've been buying recently.

Welcome to the forum. What things are you planning to make? Also (although he is a bit marmite around these parts) have a look for Paul Sellars on YT. There are also a few videos from @Peter Sefton too - and he isn't too far from you and has a tool show coming up soon - Wood Workers Workshop Tool Show – Saturday 10th June

Visited Dudley many times through work, not been in a while though.
