here is an interesting fact: China owns roughly $1.08 trillion worth of U.S. debt.

Americans are paying taxes that go to pay interest on the debt to China which then uses it to help fund the Red army

China hold about 3% of US dept but U.K. owns almost 7% of it. Thank you Uncle Sam for funding the U.K. military.

The difference between the appetite to accept scandal in the UK and US is intriguing.

It seems the “hush money” case is potentially (and hinted at probably by Sky News) going to be dismissed.

The grounds for this seems to boil down to Trump being POTUS - which implies the role makes him above the law.

It just wouldn’t happen in the UK which begs the question whether the US electorate simply does not trust their legal system to have got it right or is much more prone to accept/forgive transgressions.

What wouldn't happen here is the charges being brought at all.

Bit of a deviation, but sort of amusing and somewhat relevant, I think. It needs updating to include thought-saving words like 'woke' and the image quality is poor, but worth a quick gander.

I'd find everything John Cleese says these days, no matter how much off the deep end he's gone, still worth thinking about if he hadn't chosen GB News as his platform (presumably it chose him, really). That's a big credibility hit.
