High carbon or alloyed steel in small quantities?

Hi folks.

My experiments with case hardening mild steel were all pretty successful, but I'm not getting results as hard and wearing as I need. I nearly always use Metals4U for small quantities of steels and other material, sure I pay a little extra but they're willing to deliver small orders without exorbitant delivery charges.

However, they only carry mild steel, nothing more exotic. I've looked around on Amazon and Ebay and still not finding anything.

So, does anyone know where I can order small quantities of rod in carbon or alloy who don't charge £70 for £5 worth of steel?

Ground flat stock is who I use. Decent enough prices and reasonable shipping
